Our Keg Lounge (fireplace lounge) and 74 Lounge (dining lounge) offers an experience unlike many others at the University of Guelph. With floor to ceiling views of the Conservatory Gardens and the historic Hutt Building, each lounge is design to suit the versatile needs of our clients and ensure a comfortable and memorable experience.
THE KEG LOUNGE
The Keg Lounge is our private VIP fireplace lounge which accommodates up to thirty people with leather lounge furniture and picturesque ceiling to floor window views of the Conservatory Gardens. Enjoy your own 50” Plasma Television with full HD Satellite Service; surround sound and full capabilities to connect your laptop for presentation services. The lounge is ideal for private socials, dinners, thesis defenses, small group meetings and live sporting events.
The lounge can be customized in a host of seating plan layouts from our cocktail lounge format to full service meeting format, depending on the preference of you and your guests!
Our dynamic 74 Lounge complements our Keg Lounge as our multi-purpose special events lounge available for both public and private events. The lounge sports a modernized pub concept using mostly sustainable materials from the University of Guelph and warm tones to provide the ultimate dining experience for your group. The lounge is equipped with standard table seating, a 50” HD Plasma TV with connectivity for presentations, picturesque ceiling to floor views of the conservatory gardens, Hutt and Alexander Halls, sliding glazed wall system, and modern décor finishes. The lounge can be customized in a host of seating plans to satisfy the needs of your event!
