We are closed for a short summer hiatus from June 29 - August 18, reopening on Monday, August 19. Please join us at The Lookout: Patio + Grad Lounge on Level 5 North in the UC. We are serving up delicious meals and refreshing beverages with amazing views overlooking campus and outdoor rooftop patio. The Lookout is open Monday to Friday from 11:30am - 6:30pm.

BRASS TAPS PUB - 50 YEARS

We are celebrating our 50th Anniversary in 2024 with special events and promotions planned as well as daily bar specials, deliciously crafted $10 daily bistro features, programming features, and good times on tap! Check us out on Instagram for regular updates.

The Brass Taps Pub is open to the entire University of Guelph community and general public with all ages access everyday. We accept all U of G meal cards, cash, debit, and credit card payments. Check out our student-price friendly food and beverage selections and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere in your campus pub! We have great events, activities, prize giveaways, and so much more planned for the semester, stop in regularly and make it a semester to remember.

CALL AHEAD EXPRESS PICK-UP: Looking to order and pick-up your food and drinks faster than 30 minutes? Call us at (519) 824-4120 x 58751 and we can expedite your order and have it available for pick-up and pay at the pub in 20 minutes. Order preparation timing subject to active business levels and will be confirmed by staff at time of order.

DINE-IN SERVICE: Enjoy a relaxing dining experience with us! Enhanced measures are in place to ensure the safety of our guests and staff members. Contact tracing information and proof of vaccination required upon arrival. Various group sizes available, we recommend planning reservations in advance for large groups to ensure space to serve your group.

TUESDAY NIGHT TRIVIA RETURNS IN FALL 2024

Tuesday Night Trivia with host Trivia Guy Gaby has wrapped up for the spring and will be back on Tuesday, September 3 for the Fall 2024 semester

Looking for great trivia fun over the summer? Join us on Thursday night at 6pm in The Lookout: Patio & Grad Lounge for GSA Thursday Trivia. Bring your friends and enjoy a great night out testing your knowledge, complete with delicious food features and a great bar selection. Free to all to play, teams of any size, open to all students, staff, faculty, and community members.

The Brass Taps Campus Pub, or “The Keg” as it is known to our alumni and staff members, has been the University of Guelph’s campus home of good times for over forty-eight years!

We are your campus pub open exclusively to the University of Guelph community, alumni members and the external Guelph area. Established in 1974, your campus pub is the source for great daily food and beverage selections, quality food service at competitive rates, intimate concert performances, regular entertainment programs, guest lectures, and dynamic special event hosting. The Brass Taps Campus Pub and Campus Bakery Co. is centrally located in the University Centre on the second floor, just up the stairs from the central Courtyard or take the south elevators to Level 2 and travel down the hall from CSA Office to enter via our accessible entrance. You can always count on us to have great food, good times, and the best atmosphere on campus!

Our mission is to provide you with friendly customer service along with top quality food and beverage selections at “student-friendly” prices in a comfortable campus environment. We are committed to ensuring every guest enjoys quality service and a delicious food and beverage experience with each visit.

EVENT SERVICES

The Brass Taps is available to host your next meeting, activity, or special event. From event hosting in the pub or in one of our event lounges, to catering service in the University Centre or campus locations, we are ready to deliver a great experience at reasonable rates. We offer food service solutions from our Brass Taps Pub Menu or UC Events Catering Menu for a variety of quality dining options and services.
